Aasa Bergem always had a strong interest in photography, ever since she inherited his father's old darkroom equipment as a teenager. She completed her education in Barcelona (Escola Superior de GrisArt fotografia), and has also attended several other aesthetic schools and courses. Before she devoted herself hundred percent to photography, she also worked as an artist, doing commissions of painting, illustration and drawing. She has a wide range of creativity and in her spare time she also writes the poems and short stories.
After working as a photographer for several years, Aasa Bergem established her own photo studio at Grünerløkka, Oslo 2010. She has worked mainly with portraiture in the studio and outdoors ever since. Her assignments range from family photos, wedding and children photography to photographs of commercial value like model portfolio and product photography.
